Christmas this year came with SNOW!!!

It has been a while 4-5 years since we have had a real decent snow storm before or even around Christmas. This year has been great for snow, it snowed before Christmas, Christmas Eve and it seems like it will keep it up! This Christmas break has been different for us, we have had Dad home for the Holidays, he is in the middle of a job change and he got to hang with us for a little over two weeks. The kids have really enjoyed there special outings with him and I am sure they have enjoyed the much needed breaks from MOM...
Christmas Eve at Grandmas was fun, a little different because we are missing a big chunk of the family... Caldwells, and the Holbrooks, both Holbrooks.... but we love them so much they were still there just by smell.
See I tell ya the kids and us had fun but there is still room in the pictures for more smiling faces!!!

Christmas morning was a blast, the kids slept in to our shock. Sophia was the first one awake and we could hear her in her bedroom waking Grayce up in her ever so loud voice "Grayce come on you gotta get up, I think Santa came!!!! Grayce GET UP!!".



But when Truman woke up he was very happy which if you know Truman he does not usually wake with a smile on his face. However, this morning was very different.He really likes toys that make loud fun tractor/engine sounds. Thanks Ganer, he can't wait to put this out side and do some real excavating come summer time.
