Today started out the same as every Monday, clean, do laundry and run errands all before noon if we are lucky. While out getting shampoo the girls saw these pretty earrings (Spencer and I decided to wait until they expressed interest in getting their ears pierced, to pursue it) which always happens when we see these earrings. I of course ask them if they are ready to get them pierced with a smile and a hopeful eye, the answer is always the same, "not today mom, it looks like it hurts". But to my surprise that answer was YES! lets do it! So I took it and ran with it.... I was not going to let them change their mind on me today...
They did it! and they love it, now they get to share my earrings (yeah right). Not a tear was shed and they were so strong and brave. They picked the cutest flower earrings and now we have more stuff to put in their personalized jewelry box they got from their Ganer.
