WOW Spencer has many talents besides being a great man!

Spencer hobbies are expensive and time consuming, but then again so is everything else in life. We have been in our house two years now and recently the demo has begun. We started in our basement this time since we will be living in the basement while we complete the upstairs. When he begun we didn't realize that it would end up being so extreme. Spencer has turned a cat urine musty basement into a basement tahjmahal.

This photo is of before, This room was L shaped and stunk!

We had a great big huge fire place that was the best part of the basement.

Now the room is square, which was a task in itself because he had to put in steal beams to make sure our house didn't cave in since he knocked out walls, and the fireplace will be smaller and rocked. All done by my very handy husband, with coffered ceilings and columns.

The new storage room. I can buy more Christmas decorations!

The utility room/laundry room.... yes that is a tankless water heater hanging on the wall that once again my very talented husband installed by himself and redid all the plumbing in our house. If you ever have to replace your water heater I recommend a tankless water heater. They are wonderful, seriously, there is nothing wrong with never running out of hot water and very energy efficient. GO GREEN!

This will be the bathroom, that he had to revamp to make new spots for the shower and poop shoot. He has been at this for going on 5 months now, and he is almost to the point of drywall. I will post pictures of completion when we get there. I just needed to brag alot about him and now until it is done I am sure that Spencer will be incognito because he is all about getting this done so he can begin the upstairs to rid our house of the stink and funk of the 80's! (even though the clothing style is coming back, you will not see it in our house.)

Impressive! Nice work Spencer! Basements are a lot of work to finish, especially when you have to start with demolition.
We are excited for school to start too. Tomorrow's the big day :)
We'd love to get together soon.

Kudo's Spencer. As usual, you do a great job on your homes. Above and beyond most standards. I can't wait to see it when I come to visit in October.
See ya then,
Mom

That is amazing! I am so impressed that Spencer doesn't get burned out. Since we moved to a new house Jon sworn off handi work for one year. It is killing me! What Spencer is doing really is incredible. I feeling you "when is going to be done" pain.
