Halloween Haunting!!

Halloween Haunting started out at Gardner Village, I try to take the kids every year to see all the witches and to play with the cousins. This year was different since Grayce is now in 1st grade, we had to schedule the trip when she could come with, which meant school was out, which meant HUGE crowds everywhere. Gardner Village had many events for the kids, it was a lot of fun, just nerve racking trying to make sure that all heads were accounted for.

The only place without a line to take pictures... wonder why??? no witches in this picture.

Truman held so still, this was his first time getting his face painted and he did real well. I learned that it IS possible for a little boy to hold still.

Sophia waited so patiently, which is not one of her finer skills, but we are making improvements daily.

They loved getting their face's painted, they did so well.

Korbyn got a butterfly.

Best buds!

Sophia's Preschool had a parade and invited the parents and siblings to come and join the fun.

Truman can't wait to go to school. Truman is the puppy dog. Sophia is the wicked witch, and Annie is the Beautiful Princess.

Sophia, Lincoln, Annie and Hayes.

Annie and Sophia

Then we were on to the Halloween Carnival at Davis High with Burton Elementary. WOW this was FUN!

The kids didn't want to take this picture, they were appeasing me... You may have notices that Trumans costume changes every time??? He is two, nothing more needs to be said...Ü Here we were trying to keep the Wizard of OZ theme. The scarecrow wasn't happy and the puppy dog didn't want to show up .

Finally, the BIG night. They are ready to Trick -or- Treat!

Who is this kid??? Oh wait it is Baby Blue Man, a chocking infant??? no wait it is Truman in a diferent costume.

Grayce, Lincoln, Sophia and Truman, all done Trick -or- Treating.

After all the running around the neighborhood we decided we needed to eat, eating out on Halloween night is the best time, you will never have to wait. We went to Mandarin with family.... the girls love chineses food.

Darrel and his friend Casedra.

Katie (geisha), Dave and Sophia.

Grayce, Amber and Lincoln and Matt.

Spencer and Truman.

Korbyn, Brighton, and My ladies.

Truman decided that if I wanted a picture with him in it they needed to join him on the couch, so they did. They were all so tired and ready for bed that we decided to end the fun and head home.

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.

Mr. Pumpkin, Scary Larry and the Boo Brothers.

Looks like so much fun. We missed Gardner Village this year. I was sad, but there was to many other things to do this year.

What a fun night Halloween! I loved Truman's many costumes. The girls looked so festive in their costumes as well! You'll have to give more details about the Halloween parade. That sounds like a blast.I'm also quite impressed with your carved pumpkins.
