5 Years Old and she acts like she is as big and sometimes bigger then her idol, her big sister. It is so funny to watch her develop her own sparkling personality. She has so much spunk and charisma, she entertains the family and never slows down.
She has recently enjoyed playing with her little brother Truman. We make sure we enjoy the weather when it is nice since we are experiencing Utah spring.... we went to the park and played for a few hours on her Birthday and when we were getting into the car she said that she didn't know she could have that much fun with her brother and was excited to play like that with him another day.
The evening of her birthday her dad made her favorite meal, chinese honey chicken. If he ever offers to make it for you, don't think twice it is DELICIOUS!!! We had a very calm night at the house and it was quality. We all got to spoil and love on Sophia.
Of course she got to frost her own cake and this time she did all the work and let Grayce supervise. She was so polite about it, it was adorable, she made sure that grayce was right by her and directing her how to do it, but just not doing it.
Right after the big celebration. She is really 5!!!
Sophia's class had a great time celebrating, any time to party in school is a great time. We took treats and Truman distracted the class the whole time. She has some very cute class mates and she was leader of the day in the class. She love all the attention on her, imagine that.
We had a small birthday party for the girls at the cousins house. It was my first time getting creative with their cake so I made them a Bratz Cake. Then she got to go on her special Date with Papa Bear.
They enjoy every moment they are with their cousins, they don't stop playing the entire time.
Sophia, you are my wild flower. You brighten up the room and you make sure that everyone is always happy. I love you!

your girls are so cute. sophia sounds like she has a bit of burk's personality. burk loves being leader of the day too. i love that you let her decorate her own cake. a good and simple idea. i always stress because i suck at decorating. but i guess i have a lot of b-days ahead to get better. i love SPRING too. it's already so green here, lovin it.

Where are you guys? Lincoln misses the cousins...we missed you guys at Yost for Easter. We need to do dinner one night this week and hang out. Love and miss you!
